Director of Coaching
One of our senior and experienced coaching professionals can work full-time for your club in this crucial role. They will design and organize the entire coaching curriculum for your clubs training program, by overseeing and ensuring the quality of all sessions throughout the season. In addition, they can conduct coach education clinics for coaches and parents, and monitor the delivery of the program over the year. |

Game Day Coaching
Seeing the training sessions put into practice every week enables the coaches to best adapt the training program with the needs that arise from games. SONESOCCER will provide experienced and licensed coaches to supervise teams at practices, games, and tournaments throughout the season. We also find that in many cases, clubs welcome the opportunity to limit parental involvement in making what can be difficult team decisions. |

Team Training
SONESOCCER can provide a coach for your teams training needs over the season. By working closely with team managers, they can design and deliver a training program appropriate to the team abilities and requirements.
Goalkeeper Training
All GK coaching is conducted by Sean Kiernan. Sean Kiernan is the Head coach of the Millburn Magic WPSL team, Magic U20 team, STA Phoenix, FC Premier Red Devils, and the former coach of state champions and National #6 team Howell Spirit. Sean is a UEFA B, USSF B, Youth and Goalkeeper License Holder.
The focus on coaching in this unique position provides the technical, physical, psychological and tactical preparation necessary for the GK's to perform at the highest possible level on a consistent basis.
Look for something more than other GK coaching schools where players just get a week of catching/diving and having shots blasted at them until they are ready to drop!!! The true demands of soccer are very different this, and our camp will focus on teaching the tactical side of the game in a realistic game environment.
This includes:
- Typical Curriculum
- Shot Stopping
- Dealing with Through Balls
- Distribution
- Dealing with Crosses
- Set-Plays and Integrating the GK into the team
Functional Practice Sessions
These programs offer functional training across the range of soccer skills, such as catering for the specific needs of offense, midfield or defense. For example, SONESOCCER can design a program that works with all the forwards at a club for six weeks. These programs are aimed toward the more motivated individuals or teams looking for a fast-track progress in their game performances.
Try Outs
Tryouts are the best way to ensure an unbiased opinion in putting together a team. SONESOCCER will send experienced coaches to evaluate the players, or even to conduct the whole session. We can include a number of skills-based exercises to put players at ease despite the pressure of the try-out situation, and allow the players to perform optimally. This in turn allows you to select the best players for your team, without the problems that can go with this difficult job.
